I'm becoming more and more passionate about ending slavery. Think about it. Modern day slavery... in countries like Canada. You know it's there. It's down the street. It's in the schoolyard. It's in your church. Chances are, someone you know is buying sex. Supply and demand. Younger and younger. Higher demand for a younger supply. Torture. Trafficking. Rape. Modern day slavery. In your neighborhood. Pretending it's not there won't make it go away. These are people, not numbers. They have faces. They have names. What many do not have is hope. Chances. A way out. You know it's wishful thinking when you say they can just walk away if they wanted to. Don't excuse yourself from doing anything by saying that. Don't ignore the cries of the needy. Wake up.
